East Riding Youth Dance

East Riding Youth Dance (ERYD) is an exciting and inspiring community dance programme within the East Riding of Yorkshire for young people aged 8-18, taking place in Bridlington, Beverley, and Withernsea.

We run weekly sessions in a 10-week programme where participants work closely with professional dance artists, providing a platform for those with little or no previous background in dance to have a fun, energetic and engaging experience.

Participants can try a range of dance styles including contemporary and street dance whilst developing their creative technique and dance skills.

The Hull and East Riding Dance Hub

Yorkshire Dance works in partnership with five subregional youth dance development hubs, covering the whole of Yorkshire.

Each hub is a partnership of local organisations and agencies from a variety of sectors, each having an interest in youth dance: the education sector, the sports sector, the arts sector, the local authority sector and the health sector.

Each hub has one key contact person, the hub co-ordinator, who can provide information, advice and guidance about youth dance in the area.
