BIG DANCE 2012 - Bridlington Beach Mass Dance Performance Opportunity
Big Dance 2012 is the UK's biggest ever celebration of dance. Taking place across the UK, Big Dance will feature thousands of events inspired by dance. They will take place in all sorts of locations and in all dance styles which will all be open to absolutely anyone.
Big Dance is for anyone who dances, wants to dance or wants to watch dance.
Big Street Dance Day will include events in Trafalgar Square, London and in public spaces and streets around the UK. This is a perfect opportunity for communities around the UK to be part of this unique celebratory day of dance. We would like to open this performance opportunity to all dancers to come down to The Spa Gardens and join in the celebration of dance.

Anyone, anywhere, can take part - whatever their age, whether they dance every day or have never danced before. We want the whole of East Yorkshire to look back on Big Dance 2012 and be proud to say, 'We were part of that!'

The event will begin at 10.30am in The Spa Gardens with groups timetabled in to perform a piece of their choice. We are hoping to include individuals as well as schools and private dance schools to take part. Tea dancers will form part of the day both in and outside The Spa complex and the day will end about 3.00pm with a dance on the beach by East Riding County Company and a mass dance event.
